Bordeaux is close to the Atlantic ocean around 3 rivers, Gironde, Garonne and Dordogne. Bordeaux is blessed with temperate winters and long warm summers that are ideal for growing grapes. The gravel soils brings into the wine some minerality, limestone soils is responsible for juicy fruit flavors. The blend between these two grape variety bring such a good balance into Bordeaux wine which makes them so famous. Bordeaux produces sweet white wine made from Semillion as a grape variety characterized by his punchy style with a full of apricot and peach with a hint of exotic flavors.
